Recently, the Windows to Global Trade, together with the Hainan Provincial government, Department of Commerce of Hainan Province and Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development (Hainan IEDB), went to Malaysia to carry out economic and trade exchange activities. On November 27, the company also attended the China-Hainan Free Trade Port - Malaysia Cooperation Promotion Conference with the theme of "Sharing New Opportunities of Free Trade Port, Creating a New Future of RCEP" in Kuala Lumpur. The conference gave promotion of the policy advantages and industrial opportunities of Hainan Free Trade Port and Malaysia, and deepened the two-way exchanges and cooperation between Hainan and Malaysia. The Windows to Global Trade, as a representative of enterprises, signed a cooperation agreement with the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, jointly promote the cooperation between the two places in business services and other fields.

At the promotion conference, Feng Fei, Secretary of Hainan Provincial Committee, Ouyang Yujing, Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia and YB Liew Chin Tong, Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Malaysia, delivered speeches respectively. The Hainan IEDB, the provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports gave presentations on geographical locations in the RCEP region, favorable policies, the business environment, high-tech industry and tourism industry operation and other aspects of the Hainan Free Trade Port. The Malaysian Investment Development Authority introduced Malaysia's policies and investment opportunities.

Feng Fei, Secretary of Hainan Provincial Committee, pointed out that an opening-up Hainan will become an important meeting point to Chinese and Malaysian markets and bring broader cooperation space for both sides. Ouyang Yujing, Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia, said that the development of China and the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port will bring new development opportunities for Malaysia. “The first is to open a new channel for trade and investment, the second is to cultivate new momentum for modern industrial cooperation, and the third is to build a new platform for international cooperation. Malaysian enterprises can use these platforms not only to further understand Hainan, enter Hainan, but also to enter China and the Asia-Pacific region."

Dato'Lim Chiew Ah, president of The Federation of Hainan Association Malaysia, said that the Hainan Free Trade Port is an important policy of the Chinese government to promote economic development, and a number of preferential policies are attractive to overseas investors, and Malaysia's entrepreneurs are also expected to invest in Hainan.

At the promotion conference, under the witness of Feng Fei, Secretary of Hainan Provincial Committee, Ouyang Yujing, Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia, and Liew Chin Tong, Malaysia's Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, the Windows to Global Trade and Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce signed a cooperation agreement to build a future cooperation framework in terms of mutual establishment of representative offices, investment cooperation, business opportunity docking cooperation and other aspects.

Since the establishment of the "Southeast Asia Investment Center" in October 2023 at the Windows to Global Trade, under the guidance of the "two headquarters bases" core policy of Hainan Province, the leadership of the Department of Commerce of Hainan Province and Hainan IEDB, a number of business opportunities exchange activities have been held with New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia and other countries.
